Vincente's own description:
"Pleurodeles poireti is an endemic species of Tunisia and NE of
Algeria.
In the reproduction season can be found in ponds, swamps, "oueds" and
lakes. In summer the ponds are dried and then are hidden in splits.
They are reproduced in the rains season (normally in September),
putting some 30-50 eggs. Live until 20 years in captivity".
