I wasn't sure if I should leave the trees out in the package you sent them
in or plant them right away. They probably would have done fine not
planted, though I just couldn't "take" it. So I planted them pretty much
right away. That must have brought them out of dormancy I guess. I've
been watering them every ten days two to weeks, no fertilizer. I haven't
done anything else, other than provide them with light (picture provided of
the set up, which is a wooden shelf system from Ikea ($40), a small
fluorescent light with a "plant bulb" and a spotlight with a 60W plant bulb.
It would be cool if you did send me an extra Adansonia, though don't feel
you have to. I'm sending you this info because I would like to know how
the plants fared were I in your shoes, and it isn't a problem at all. :-)
